What happens in the 34th week of pregnancy?
About
The 5th Day of the 34th week of a woman’s first pregnancy or primigravida.
In the 34th week of primigravida, the baby’s bones harden except those in the skull as to facilitate passage through the birth canal. [5]
-Medical diagnosis by a general physician can be enough for confirmation.
-Affects only women.
-An ultrasound scan might be required.
During the 34th week of pregnancy, the baby develops further. The baby is 17 to 18 inches from head to toe and weighs about 4.75 to 5 pounds, the size of a cantaloupe. His/her nervous system, brain, and lungs continue to mature. The head of the baby is probably in the downward position as preparation for birth, but this isn’t always the case, and there’s no reason for the parents to worry.
Ages Affected no particular age group is affected as it is not a disorder but a period during the pregnancy of a woman.
