Delayed puberty is when there are no physical signs of change by the age of 14 years in boys and 13 years in girls.

Nearly 3% of children are affected by delayed puberty and 90% of these cases are due to constitutional delay.

Lack of testicular enlargement
Little body hair or no hair
Body stays thin and short

Diagnosis

The clinical diagnosis includes the medical history review, physical examination, blood test, X-ray (Bone age examination), MRI, CT Scan

Treatment

Self-Care: Nutritious diet, psychological support to the child.

In-Hospital treatment- Hormonal replacement therapy, etiology
