PCOD/PCOS test or the ‘Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome’ test monitors several hormones in a woman’s body.
This test covers seven tests, including the Androgen Level test to monitor DHEA and Testosterone, the Hormone Level test to assess Follicle-Stimulating Hormone or FSH and Luteinizing Hormone or LH, Organ Evaluation for Thyroid (TSH only), a risk Assessment to detect diabetes (hbA1C), and a Prolactin Level Analysis.
The tests measure Luteinizing Hormone, Follicle Stimulating Hormone, Prolactin levels present in the blood. Examining these levels helps determine good reproductive health. In case of imbalances, the doctor may suggest further treatment.
