What Is Absolute Basophil Count?

Basophils are among the five types of white blood cells which play an important role while encountering allergic reactions. Basophils also comprise of anticoagulant heparin, which is useful in preventing rapid blood clotting.   • If there are symptoms of CML (chronic myeloid leukemia).
